The charity was established by a group of parents of autistic children in 1992 with the objective of making life better for their children. Their shared experience was that their children missed out on many of the social opportunities enjoyed by their neurotypical peers and they resolved to cooperate to establish social events and activities that their children would enjoy. This objective underpins our approach to this day. Now the charity is the principal provider of social activities for autistic children and young people across the Lothians. We currently provide a range of social activities tailored to the needs of children and young people as they progress through their school years.
