Our main role is the day to day running and maintenance of the Centre. We have over 300 people weekly through the door, from our groups who hire the hall and our own activities. These include kids and adult crafts, bingo, quiz and race nights as well as a large scale family fun event annually. HCC, in collaboration with other groups and organisations including, Statutory, Third and Private sectors, provide a varied and meaningful programme of events and activities, to meet the needs and interests of all age groups and sections of the community. In turn, tackle poverty, inequality and disadvantage in its many forms. The Community Centre is managed by local people for the benefit of the community.
