The charity collects donations and gifts made for the purpose of supporting the University of Aberdeen, its students and other University community beneficiaries as stipulated by the donors wishes. The trust disburses funds on receipt of successful applications which are approved by the trustees, ensuring that the funds are used for the stipulated purpose. Examples of disbursements may include but are not limited to: student bursaries and prizes, funding for lectureships, research support, building/upgrading facilities and equipment.
