The charity is setup for the promotion of interest in and the advancement of public participation in the sport of Athletics. The charitable purpose is fulfilled by providing coaching, facilities and opportunities in the communitry aged nine years or upwards to participate in athletics. In addition, it provides athletics competition team and club management, officiating at local and national competitions & league matches and financial support to individual athletes, coaches and officials to compete, support and officiate at national competitions.
