OCH aims to improve the health, wellbeing, inclusion and civic pride of the local community, through the provision of a high quality, welcoming community facility. Accommodation is available to book for events, meetings and recreational activities, including a main hall which can be split 60/40 and two meeting rooms. Various regular activities take place, such as chair aerobics and dance classes, and we also host theatre performances, and film showings. We have a community cafe which operates 6 days a week, offering a varied menu and giving residents and visitors a place to meet and socialise. Income from the cafe also helps to fund the Hub's activities. OCH is a SGLW employer and our facility provides local employment opportunities. We also operate a Youth Programme for 13-17 year olds, equipping them with valuable employability and life skills while working part-time within the Hub and receiving a wage. OCH also organises community initiatives such as adopting a hanging basket.
