MCASS is a registered charity we deliver outreach support to families who are impacted and are struggling with daily challenging situations with drug and alcohol misuse and related issues affecting the whole family unit from the Black Minority Ethnic Communities (BME) in the Greater Glasgow areas. Family Life Matters project supports families, using a tailored person-centred approach and provides toolkits to families by building healthier conversations and be a better supportive home. Focusing on promoting reduction, prevention and recovery including signposting and referrals to alcohol and drugs partnerships and other community partners for addition support. This also includes family mediation, empowering family members to use their voice learn how to be actively, positively involved in their loved one’s recovery and have a better understanding of misuse and have tools to cope, connect better and build their resilience.
