North Queensferry Community Trust

The Charity was set up to promote, manage and develop activities and projects for the benefit and development of the community of North Queensferry. It does this, firstly, by taking on projects which are directly managed by the Trustees, such as running North Queensferry Harbour and, secondly, by acting as an umbrella group for groups of residents who want to work on a particular project without having to set up as a stand-alone organisation with its own bank account. Any such sub-committee has to have at least one Trustee who reports back to the Trust as a whole at each meeting. There is currently a sub-committee working on a Community Buy-Out of the local pub and another looking at green issues and community energy.
