Walkerburn Community Development Trust exists to support and benefit the local community by enabling community-led projects, improving local facilities, and supporting access to shared resources. The Trust delivers this through organising and supporting community activities and events, facilitating use of community assets such as allotments, and working in partnership with local groups to meet identified needs. This includes providing practical support and, where appropriate, financial assistance to community initiatives, as well as enabling access to shared spaces and facilities. During the reporting period, the Trust’s activities focused on maintaining existing community projects and supporting their continued use and benefit to the community.
