Our purpose is to actively engage and support young people in their personal development,empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. The Scout Method is a framework for Scouting in the UK that involves young people working with adult volunteers to learn and have fun. The method is based on Scout values and includes the following activities:- Enjoyment: Scouts should have fun and enjoy what they are doing. Learning by doing. Scouts learn through participation in activities. Indoor and Outdoor Activities: Scouts participate in activities both Indoors and outdoors. Spiritual reflection: Scouts share in spiritual reflection. Responsibility: Scouts take responsibility and make choices. New and challenging activities.. Promise.The Scout Method is non-competitive, as Scouts should learn because they enjoy the subject and not to be better than others.
