Eddleston Village Hall plays a central role in village life, providing a space for the community to meet, play and learn. The Committee hire the hall for events (for example weddings, parties, horticultural shows, elections, dance classes, Bite and a Blether), meetings of the Community Council, and recreation (for example badminton, yoga). The Committee also run village hall events such as a bi-weekly Warm Space, a book swap, the annual duck race, ceilidh’s, a Christmas fair, and maintenance days for volunteers to help with the upkeep of the hall.
