Parent Action for Safe Play (PASP) is a community-led charity working to reduce poverty and inequality across Coatbridge. Our purpose is to make a positive difference for children, young people, and families, including those with Additional Support Needs, by ensuring equitable access to support, resources, and opportunities that promote wellbeing and inclusion. Over the past 29 years PASP has developed into a well-established community organisation delivering an integrated, inclusive, and accessible range of services. We operate a purpose-built playground open year-round, an indoor Children and Youth Development Centre, and a Community Garden. Our activities include play and youth provision, evening and holiday programmes, sports and arts activities, outreach support, leadership development and environmental and health initiatives, training and volunteering opportunities, and community events.
