• To advance animal welfare by providing short-term pet care (in the homes of volunteer fosterers) when a pet owner is unable to provide pet care through illness, homelessness or domestic abuse, and cannot arrange alternative care, with the aim of returning pets to their owner whenever possible. • To provide help, if possible, with the rehoming of a foster pet when the owner is unable to continue providing care, after a foster period, giving the owner comfort that their pet is being cared for when they are no longer able to do so and providing advice and support to the owner.
