Whilst the Trustees have wide discretion and the principal purpose is stated to be:- 'The encouragement of education, primarily in sport and the establishment of Scholarships at Universities, Colleges or other educational institutions in the United Kingdom primarily for sport.' The Foundation currently supports a number of Sports Scholarships at the University of Stirling.
