The company's aims and objectives are to promote the care and education of children without distinction of race, and political or religious opinions in need of care during out of school hours and school holidays, and to promote the provision of facilities for the recreation and leisure time occupation of such children in the interest of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life, to offer play opportunities, which are fun and encourage exploration, learning new skills and healthy all round development within a safe and caring environment, to advance the education and training of persons providing the care and education and recreational facilities, to provide out of school care from 3.00pm to 6.30pm after school and 8.00am to 6.00pm during school holidays Monday to Friday throughout the year for lone parents and low income two parent families who would otherwise be unable to seek or take up employment due to the lack of childcare facilities.
