The Trust's purpose as stated in the original Trusts Deed are the relief of poverty, destitution, financial hardship, misery, neglect, suffering, disease, sickness or infirmity. In recent years the Trustees have focused on the issues of sex and race inequality. Their strategy is to make a small number of donations, agreed a meetings twice a year, with the intention of strengthening the infrastructure of organisations committed to challenging racial and sexual inequality and making them more resilient.
