Addictions Counselling Inverness (ACI) provides free, specialist, one-to-one counselling, group recovery therapies and family support for people affected by drug, alcohol and gambling addiction. Our humanistic, person-centred approach addresses the root causes of addiction, often linked to trauma, rather than just the symptoms. We work with adults aged 16+ at any stage of recovery, offering tailored, confidential support delivered by a team of professionally qualified volunteer counsellors whose work represents over £165K per year in in-kind contributions. We also run peer groups, recovery coaching and family training, building resilience and connection. ACI works closely with local partners to ensure no one falls through the gaps.
