The objects of the CIO are for the public benefit in India and Asia: (1) The prevention or relief of poverty by: (a) promoting training opportunities and employment to socially and economically disadvantaged workforces;(b) Distributing low cost solar lamps to low income families and individuals. (2) The promotion of environmental protection through the promotion of re-use and recycling.
