The objects of the CIO are to advance education for the public benefit, through the promotion, support andencouragement of music, in particular through research into neglected repertoire, the presentation ofhistorically-aware musical performances on period instruments, and widening performance andknowledge of neglected repertoire, and through publishing recordings and editions, delivery of e
