CBE is a charity for the public benefit to promote equality and diversity in broadcasting, television and film in particular but not exclusively by:1 Promoting and/or providing activities to raise awareness of the lack of racial equality in these media; and2 Conducting or commissioning research on racial equality in these media and publishing the results.
