Activities have focused on the provision of affordable studios, communal workshop facilities and a programme of events supporting early career artists and for the public benefit. In 2018 following a review its membership, the trustees agreed that, due to the low numbers of members, the Woodmill could no longer meet its original charitable goals and dissolution action would be initiated.
