The Foundation was established with the objective 'To advance in life and relieve the needs of children and young people by distributing funds to youth charities'. The Foundation raised funds for and ran the Thames River Pageant held to celebrate HM The Queen's Diamond Jubilee as a way of promoting its activities and those of other charities it is seeking to help.
