The main objective is the promotion of human rights(hr) (as set out in the Universal Declaration of HR and subsequent UN Conventions and Declarations) in Colombia by: monitoring abuses of hr; obtaining redress for the victims of hr abuses; educating the public about hr; holdind seminars; contributing to sound administration of hr law; raising awareness and promoting public support for hr
